WSCA Contract Information

The Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA)
The Western States Contracting Alliance was formed in October 1993 by the state purchasing directors from fifteen NASPO western states. The resulting alliance enables cooperative multistate contracting in order to achieve cost-effective and efficient acquisition of quality products and services for participating members.
Membership consists of the principal procurement officials who head the state's central procurement organization, or designees for that state, ranging from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, and Nevada to New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Nextel was awarded a WSCA Wireless agreement in June 2001 for a period of three years with two one-year extensions. As of May 1, 2005, the following states or governmental entities have fully executed Participating Addendums through Nextel's WSCA contracting vehicle: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Attorney General's Office of Pennsylvania, Jackson County, Missouri; Overland Park, Kansas; North Palm Beach County, Florida; Sacramento County, California and Wilson, North Carolina.
